Does Tax Player money has to pay for U.S. Postal Office failure?

Unlike FedEx or UPS, USPS actually lose a lot of money like 5 billions last year alone. Does that mean tax player has to pay?

1. Actually, the USPS is self-sufficient and makes enough to run the US postal system and make a profit.
2. Im not to sure, but I have never played with my taxes....lol

5. No, not really, but it's what we are stuck with until somebody comes up with something better. Besides a lot of the cost over run comes from fuel cost and not projecting unforeseen new cost. The budget for the US Postal Service is voted on at the beginning of the new year and can't be adjusted for during the new federal year they have to wait until a new budget is passed.
