United States post office Help?

I'm looking into becoming a Mail Carrier in Pennsylvania. I know I have to take and pass a postal exam, but once I pass the exam, what do I do? Do I apply full time at the local post office?

1. You will usually be assigned to "RCA" position. (Rural Carrier Associate) or other PT assignment. Talk with your local postal employees at the Post Office for available positions.
