can you go pick something up from fedex?

i have a package coming in and the tracking says that its in a nearby place, at 6:30 is said its activity was "on fedex vehicle for delivery". and its details says "scheduled for delivery next business day." well, its basically right in my back yard so im hoping i can just go get it instead of waiting til the 10th when the weekend is over. and if i could what would i have to do? call and go to fedex freight? or fedex office? theyre both in different areas so id like to only take a trip once

1. If you have the tracking #, go online or phone and tell them to hold the package there for you- if its already on a truck, you may have to wait til Monday anyway
2. FedEx usually has a policy where you can pick up your package directly from the shipping center, but only at certain times. It's usually a 30 minute window of time, after the trucks are done delivering, but before they close. Call the office, they'll tell you when and where.
