I bought a fleece jacket & a hoodie from Urban Outfitters, and they didn't fit right. The obvious solution to this problem would be to return them to get my money back. The closest U.O (Urban Outfitters) is sixty miles from where I live. I had already payed the $6.00 shipping & handling fee, which includes free shipping back, so I decided to mail both item(s) back in the same package they arrived. I took it to the post office on (February 27, 2009) and personally handed it to a USPS worker. I tried to buy insurance on the item(s) (seeing as it was over $150 in merchandise) but she said I couldn't, for whatever reason. She gave me the tracking number so I could track my item(s). I just checked the USPS website (March 9, 2009) and it said my item(s) were still in Austin, Texas as of (Mach 3, 2009.) What can I do since it has been over 14 days and my item(s) is/are still in Texas? Do I file a lost/stolen report? Also, is there a way for U.O to tell that I mailed it out on February 27, 2009 so it is still within the 30 day return policy? Thank you for your help =] It was priority mail.
