Postal Letter

How much should I charge on Ebay for shipping for a little Nintendo game?

I currently have it listed as US $4.00 US Postal Service Priority Mail Flat Rate EnvelopeĀ® But I don't know if thats an expensive feature. Ideally, I would like the slowest and cheapest mail option that I can go to the US post office and send out. Thanks!

  1. You need to weigh it with packaging and ask at the post office (or look on the website) how much it will cost to send by different services. Then add on the packaging cost and you have your postage amount. Bear in mind you will get more interest in you item if you have fair/lower postage
  2. I would just send it first class...much cheaper and just as reliable
  3. If you have it listed as going to go Priority Mail, then you are obligated to the buyer who purchases it that it is being shipped via USPS Priority Mail. BTW, I am not sure that USPS has an Under $4 flat rate Envelope anymore, I think it is now 4.85, but not sure. Anyway, you could have put it into a bubble mailer, and sent it first class, or parcel post, and it would have been cheaper than four dollars. But the extra money could cover paypal fees, ebay fees, envelope, time to pack the game, etc. Thats why its called shipping AND handling, You did fine at the four dollar range, but use Standard Shipping Rate, it helps clear any confusion on the part of the buyer.
