Tracking USPS package sent to United Arab Emirates?
Is there a way on how to track the package sent from United States via USPS to United Arab Emirates. I checked the website they recommended as a link to International Postal Administration but it doesn't state how to use the USPS Label/Receipt number as tracking number in UAE Postal Service (eq. Emirates Post, Mumtaz Post, etc). I will never buy anything if the seller will send it via USPS, hard to track down. Needs help please.

- I send packages to relatives in the UAE all the time using postal mail. The mail always arrives but the tracking by the postal authorities does not update until the post in UAE sends back notification to the USPS. Most times you have the package before the tracking updates. You need to think of the tracking as a way to check on delivery. Not as a way to follow it's every step around the world. Most sellers are smart enough to know that USPS is the cheapest and most efficient way to send packages to overseas locations. The charges the package services levy for customs brokerage and delivery make sending things this way cost prohibitive. For example not many people are willing to buy a hundred dollars for merchandise and then pay another 100 for shipping. Most vendors will tell you about how long delivery takes to your country. They have experience and can usually estimate it pretty well. In my experience packages to the UAE from California take around 3 weeks to arrive. Ask your vendor for an estimate of how long it will take. If it has not been at least this long since it was sent relax and wait. Getting crazy over it isn't going to make it arrive any faster.
