How accurate is FedEx Tracking?

I've had a package that arrived at the FedEx at Reno on March 27. On the Website today, I just received the info that it is to be shipped March 30 (today), yet it's still at "picked up" and not "in transit". Can I expect it to ship today, or will they have closed shop for the night, because I'm finding the website contradictory. Thanks for any help I get! They just sent it out and will get here a day early... Murphy's law never seems to fail.

1. Just my opinion, but FedEx is a VERY competitive company vs. UPS. Anything I've ever ordered using FedEx has arrived before the estimated date/time. So no worries. PS This competition is also causing UPS to match up - they are also starting to beat the 'estimates'.
