how do i get my FedEx package re-routed to a FedEx store for pickup rather than my home address?

i need my package sent to a fed ex staffed location b/c it needs a signature to recieve. i won't be home to accept and sign for it, so i need it sent to a fedex store to be picked up at my convenience. how would i go about doing this? i have the tracking info and everything.

  1. call them and asked
  2. First off call 1 800 Go Fedex (1-800-463-3339) or call the information number in your city to get the local Fedex station where you are . Understand that the only person who can change a direct signature requirement is the person who shipped the package. You should call them and ask them to have Fedex change the requirement if you really want Fedex to release the package at your home. Does the tracking number show the location (station) where your package is at? If it does call that station and ask them to hold your package. They will do so and you can go pick it up that day. You have to do this before the courier takes it on road for delivery. Call before 7 a.m. or you will miss the courier. Fedex will hold the package at a station for you but you must have your identification with you. They will not let someone else sign for it. Call them first thing in the morning.
  3. You have two different things things, one if you don't get it you can call and have it held at the FedEx station. The station is the depot where the drivers pick up from. However anytime I ever asked for help from a store they are never helpful, they are mostly franchises that make there money off selling plastic peanuts and packing supplies, and are always rude when you ask them to do something the don't get paid for, so to save yourself the hassle just call fedex and have them hold it at the station
  4. Call fedex 800 number and tell them you want it "held at location" then go pick it up
