where can i get a good free virus protection program for my windows vista laptop?

apparently my "Norton Security Online" has been cancelled by At&t. now i need to find a good security software program with virus protection and advanced firewall. and if i do find one should i Uninstall the one that is cancelled?

1. AVG free is pretty good. I use it and am virus free. You will need to uninstall any other antivirus software before you install it. You should never have 2 antivirus programs running at once.
