what are my chances of getting a post office job?

I registered to take exam 710 which is for the post office clerk. I am planning on studying like i've never before. I am pretty good with test taking. Let's say i do really good on the test what are my chances of actually getting hired? NOTE* I live in the Los Angeles area.

1. That is going to probably be based on the openings in you area and if you have any prior experience. Also how many other people applying will come into play.

3. So My hubby has been trying to get a post office job for about twelve years. He has traveled around our state for about 8-10 exams and got on the register all times but the first. And we still do not have a job. Pretty sad huh??? Good Luck to you
