Does usps tracking system REALLY suck?

hi, i ordered from a website a cuple days ago and shipped it via usps, and got a tracking number with it. whenever i track my package down on usps it always says the same thing. its been shipped. im tired of seeing this and wanna know where it really is. please help!!

1. yeah... usps does suck... not normally this bad but it does
2. May as well ask you shoes where your parcel is, they would have a better idea than the usps tracking page.
3. USPS is cheaper than UPS/FedEx. They dont track when its on truck, in warehouse, its very minimal. Deal with it.
4. USPS tracking sucks. Most of the time it says "shipped" and does not update until it is delivered. And then not all the time, when I used the tracking a few weeks ago to send an item to a family member, they got it 4 days after I sent it. What is funny is the tracking still only shows it shipped and has not been delivered yet. Go figure, cheap usps!
5. USPS "TRACKING" sucks major horse d*(*k, i wouldn't even call it tracking .. all it does just tells you when your package left the source and only when you get your package the status changes.
