How do I pick up a package from the post office when I work 8-5 each weekday?

Since I work 8-5 and I'm not close to the post office, I don't know how I can ever pick up the package? It's too far from work to go in the day and the post office is only open 9-5 weekdays I think. I need to pick it up soon next week.

1. Can you call the post office and ask if a friend can pick it up for you? They may allow it, especially if you send a signed memo to the PO authorizing the friend to pick up the package. Try it.
2. Call the post office and see if they will forward the package to your place of work. Or ask them how you can get it. They may have the answer to your problem.
