  1. uninstall Avast and download the newest version and install it, be sure to register it, it is free: http://www.filehippo.com/download_avast_antivirus/ Let it do a bootscan on reboot and MOVE all it finds to the chest I would stick with Avast, best real-time protection online Precious is a troll, do NOT go to that site: Remove AdwareAlert, removal instructionsAdwareAlert is a corrupt anti-spyware application that tries to use the mistyped title of the legitimate Ad Aware anti-spyware tool in order to scam. www.2-spyware.com/remove-adwarealert.html - 19k - Cached - Similar pages I would suggest that people report Precious for promoting a rogue program that will mess up your PC.
  2. Precious is wrong. He is premoting unusful software. Use these: http://free.avg.com http://www.freewebs.com/dielan44/apps/links http://www.superantispyware.com http://housecall.trendmicro.com For my program (the 2nd one) use the Infinity Browser.
  3. Try logging into Windows under Safe Mode and then install an antivirus and run a scan.
