- Well, first thing, go and check that your Nod32 protection is turned on. Check the settings, and if it all seems to be working, its likely that either you have an infection that slipped past your Nod32, or it is a Windows tool is trying to locate something. Firstly, I advise you download both Malwarebytes and Ad-Aware, install them, and run scans with both programs, starting with Malwarebytes. They should be able to remove any infections on there. http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=button http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php After they've cleaned out your computer, I advise keeping both of these programs to help protect you in the future. Turn Ad-Aware Live-Protection on, and this as well as your Nod32 should give you very good security. If this doesn't sort it, it is most likely that it is the Windows Security Center part of SP2. Go to Start > All Programes > Accessories > System Tools > Security Center > and on the left open 'Change the way Security Center alerts me'. Hope this helps Good luck
