What does USPS tracking mean when it says accepted at location?

1. Kind of difficult to expand on such a clear statement. Someone took an item to a Post Office, or a Carrier pick up an item from a sender and the item was scanned. Basically, the sender no longer has custody of the item, the USPS does and it is on its way to the addressee.
