How long does it take to receive an item through "standard flat rate shipping" and usps media mail?

2. There is no such class of mail as "Standard Flat Rate Shipping". That is an Ebay term that only means that the shipping charges are the same for everyone, no matter where they are located. Media Mail, a subclass of Package Services, averages 2-9 days. That depends on how far apart you and the sender are. It also depends on if the item sent actually qualifies as a Media Mail item. The class is very restrictive as to the content. USPS knows that there are many people that try to ship anything and everything by Media Mail because of the very low cost. However, MM is subject to inspection. If your package is inspected, and found to not be eligible for the rate, this will delay the shipment and it will be marked up Postage Due to the correct class of mail and you will have to pay the additional postage to get the package. Otherwise it will be sent back. Just some thoughts.
