Postal Letter

Why does't the postal service charge higher rates for delivering advertising?

It would certainly cut down on the wasted paper. I must throw out a tree a day! It assuredly wastes a lot of my time and makes me feel like the sanctity of my home is being invaded. Is there a solution ?

1. there is a company u can call for junk mail but idk where u r etc so try find them on google best
2. Actually they charge less for bulk mail. Why would the post office shoot their revenue streams in the foot to bend over backwards to save you a little time? How much do you spend at the post office in your lifetime? I bet its less then one advertiser spends a day.
3. They are in the business of making money, not worrying about the environment.
