Ebay seller not shipping item, nor communicating. What do I do?

I've made an ebay purchase on May 29th, and paid in full with paypal. However since then, I've not received any communication from the seller and I've tried communicating with them through many ways. I've even called their number that ebay sent me. I don't understand why this is happening as the person has 100% feedback with around 160 feedback's left for them. What should I do? I wrote them another email stating that I'll give them until Thursday to communicate with me. Has this ever happened to anyone? When is the latest I can expect the package (it's free USPS shipping)? I'm really worried because I paid $300 to this person, and haven't gotten single thing.

  1. Email him one more time then if he does not answer, you can always file a complaint to Ebay explaining everything. they will resolve the problem.
  2. How did you pay exactly? Paypal has buyer protection up to 500 i think but eBay in general is quite good at solving disputes It does happen, has happened to me about 3/4 times (less than 5% of my transactions) where i have had to put in a claim. And each time it ended with a full refund for me. Sign into your my eBay page, scroll all the way down to the bottom and hit 'security centre'. Then on the right you should see a 'reprt problem' button
  3. Go to resolve a problem and fill out the form/question air.
  4. Wow i just talked to a neighbor who is moving' and she said she owed many people on ebay as she was selling things from her house like sunglasses and she said she had all the money they sent her' but they would have to wait till she could find the items ' which may be 6 months or so.I told her she should refund everyone but she said nope.I would make a complaint as there must be someone to help folks like you' get their itens payed in full already.good luck
  5. Open a dispute with paypal, this will get their undivided attention. However on saying that the 29th wasnt that long ago, perhaps give them a couple more days. Some sellers arnt big on communication. Just remember you have 60 days to open a dispute.
  6. You need to give them two full weeks before opening a dispute, it can take ten business days to arrive ( two weeks). If it still doesn't arrive by then, go to the item, click on the far right hand side and a drop box will have " report a problem" or "report a dispute" ( I forget exact wording) and open a dispute. Make sure you do the same on paypal, you must open a dispute on each site.
  7. open non-receipt dispute on ebay . and go to paypal to claim your full payment
