do you think the daily mail deliberately incites racial hatred?

I read a few articles today (not having bought the paper, I hasted to add) and was totally appalled.

1. I don't think it does.The Mail is against that sort of thing altogether-and I have read all of their columnists. I read some of it today so which articles are you referring to? The Daily Mail-Quentin Letts column dissects politicians very amusingly. Never ever read anything racist in the paper and I have been getting it every day for years.
2. No - it has forth right views 0 & is the only paper that stuck its head out following the Stephen Lawrence Murder trails & even has a section dedicated to the alleged culprits on its website, so they can never escape from their apparent crime !
3. It does if you are liberal/marxist, but it does not like anyone or anything Scottish
4. I don't think it deliberately incites hatred, but I do think that it tends to prolong confrontations, and give half truths so that people come to the wrong conclusion. Quite frequently that's all it takes for hatred to flourish. Especially when in so many cases it's so close to the surface anyway. I think that the number one cause of racial hatred is ignorance. Ignorance about others and what they are truly like as well as ignorance about ourselves. How can we know others if we don't truly know ourselves?
