How long does it take for my package to arrive using USPS express mail?

my friend sent a package for me last feb 26 using usps express mail and on feb 28 it was already in JFK airport. does anyone know when it will arrive in philippines? and how much should i pay for the duties and taxes for $1000 gift?

1. just wait and see. it cud be on the way but it has much tax
2. Ops.. Feb. 26 they will get there in 3 month or 4 month and half. if they get there. I used to send this site more info to find a nearest location where you live: http://forexworld.us/kahon/ You can save a lot of Money they will get there in Cebu-45 days Manila - 36 days
3. the customs office will sit on it till you put a trace on it.
4. Mine took about 6 Weeks form North Carolina to Ormoc city Leyte.
5. It will likely arrive somewhere in Philippines within two or three days , after that it is at the mercy of the Philippine Post . They may send it on its way within 2 or 3 months .
6. i send packages every now and them from US to manila.. normally takes 5 working days to 2 weeks depending on the weather condition and the exact destination of the package.. sometimes, you even have to claim it to the Main office in Pasay somwhere near the airport.. maybe you will ask why you have to claim it yourself.. we know very well what happens to these mails and packages sometimes.. they are limiting the possibilities.. you dont have to pay for anything because your friend already paid for it..
