How long will the post office hold my package for at my po box?
I have a P.O. Box at my Post Office, I've had a few packages delivered there over the past week, but haven't been able to (and I don't know when I will be) go to the post office to pick them up-- I live far away. I am almost positive at least one of the packages doesn't fit my actual mail box if that makes a difference. So I was wondering, how long do they hold a package for P.O. Box owners at the Post Office?

- If the box does not fit in your box, the post office will leave a note for you on the box stating u have a box and will need you to pick it up at the counter. (They will also do this if your box gets full). I'm not sure how long they will hold it for you but i would think they would hold it as long as you have your po box paid. That's why you have a po box, so they would hold your mail. anyway, the best way to go is to call them directly and double check with them, 1800-275-8777, good luck.
- The postal service will hold your ordinary package for as long as the box is paid for. If your package requires a signature, they will hold it for 15 days. If it is an express mail item, they will hold it for 5 business days.
