How does usps work because i ordered something offline?

I ordered a pair of shoes and i tracked it from usps and i was just wondering will usps deliver my shoes to my door or will they give it 2 ups or fed-ex to deliver to my door?

1. UPS usually delivers to your door.
2. They will deliver to your door. UPS and FEDEX are independent shipping services and do not deal with the United States Postal Service (USPS). The only question is if there is a signature confirmation that will be needed to complete the delivery. If you or someone is not home to sign they will leave a notice in your mailbox as to where it was left (possibly with a neighbor). More likely they will enter a post office you can retrieve it at or that they will make a second attempt for delivery. After 3 attempts at delivery they will probably return it to the sender.
3. Actually it depends on how it was shipped. If it was parcel post they usually make an attempt to deliver. It also depends on where you live. If you are in a rural location and the box will not fit in your mailbox, they usually take it back to the P.O. and let you know you have to pick it up.
4. the post office (USPS) will deliver it the only time they will give to another carrier is if a internationa global express package otherwise they will deliver it
