I just received a letter via postal addresed to a person no loger living here. How do i forward it to him?

I just received a letter via postal addresed to a person no loger living here. How do i forward it to him?

  2. Just write on the envelope "no longer at this address" and put it back in the mailbox. The postal carrier will take it back.
  3. you have to do a lot of research and find out where that other person lives and WALK it to their residence. you CANNOT drive. that's the law, if they see you driving you will get fined/arrested/jailed. just kidding. you can write MOVED or NO LONGER AT THIS ADDRESS or whatever you want and stick it in the mailbox for the mailperson, and they'll take it next day and wipe the counter at the post office with it.
  4. Just write "RTS" (return to sender) on it and throw it back in the outgoing mail. The sender will get the mail returned to them and should realize the person will no longer get mail at your address.
