Is there a free web-based service to access my pop3 email accounts?

I'm looking for something feature rich that allows me to use my own email account. I am looking for something that can pull my pop3 account and I can send using my SMTP account. gmail has some of it but when I send it says name@email.com send from name@gmail.com.

1. Gmail allows free access using programs such as Outlook. Or, are you asking if you can use a program to pull in pop mail regardless what email provider you are using? Please provide some more detail.
