Does the us postal service priority mail deliver to houses?

i have recently purchased a Ipod touch off ebay and the seller has us postal service priority mail free. i put my house adress but not my P.O box. i dont have a mailbox. so will the post office ship the package back? or will they hold onto it for me to pick up

1. They will attempt to deliver to your home
2. If you receive mail delivery to your home then it will come there. If the post office knows your post office box number they will hold it there. You could have used your PO Box address since the item was being shipped by the US Postal Service.
