Postal Letter

Every time the mailman delivers a package it gets drenched from rain. What can I get to protect it?

The mailman doesn't leave it out in the rain, he puts it under our stoop, but our house seems to be on a slant and the area gets soaked. Our welcome mat is always wet! Is there a waterproof box out there for this or something?

1. Anything you can put a lid on and a sign saying "mail". If you don't care what it looks like, get a plastic bin from Wal-mart. If you do care, use anything you can find that you like and that's more or less waterproof. How about a rural mailbox attached to the porch wall or somewhere else?
