How do I become a united states postal service mailman or rural carrier?

I want to become a mail man and want to know how/where to apply and if anyone has any other information to help me start my career as a mail man.

1. I took the written test once, a million years ago but didn't get to go back to go for the second half of the test on another day. Call the post office. Ask them where it is that you go to apply for jobs. I went to some big building but I don't remember what city, LA or Orange County. They can tell you or give you a number. They have times when the job testing is open. You may have to have your name put on a list and they mail you an application now or when they're testing. You may not take the test and deliver letters next week, but as you said, you want to start. THat's good. All you can do is call post offices to find out where to go and then call them to see when and if they are testing! Good Luck.
