When sending a check from the US via USPS how much do I have to pay for taxes?

Or do I have to pay for taxes at all? I've got an online job and they say their checks are going to be sent via USPS. How much do I have to pay? I'm the Philippines and they are in the US.

1. Are you in the US or in the Phils? If you are in the US and earn at least $600 a year for doing online jobs/surveys, the survey/mktg. research company will mail tax form 1099 for you to file.
2. You pay the same amount as if you lived in the states. You pay taxes based on where it was earned.
