Can you use USPS flat rate boxes for other methods of shipping besides priority mail?

I got some free boxes from USPS and have a book to ship, but its cheaper to use media mail than to pay the priority flat rate. Can i still use the box even though its for priority shipping?

1. You will have to wrap the box in brown craft paper or with some other material so the "Priority Mail" does not show in order to ship it and pay Media Mail postage. If you ship it in the Priority Box as it is, you will have to pay Priority Mail postage.
2. you should order them seperatly.
