Usps boxes and shipping!?

I just ordered some usps boxes free of charge for priority mail and I was wondering, when I ship something in a box with those boxes and use priority mail- does the shipping stay the same or does it go by Weight?? Thanks thats the thing, supposedly those usps bboxes are flat rate for priority-so i wanna know if weight is included
