What employment opportunities are available to a person who...?

- has never had a job before. - has a lower second class degree in Linguistics and Philosophy. - has a poor attendance record from university. - has a debilitating mental illness (Bipolar Disorder, mild to moderate anxiety and possible Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder). Is it hopeless?

  1. No, it's not hopeless. Apply for jobs you're interested in. But also, try to make sure you look after your mental health.
  2. You still have a chance. It is just a matter of finding a right job for yourself. It is normal for people for spend about 6 months looking for a job. With the mental illness, maybe you can cope with this by either consult with your doctor and ask for recommendations. You will be fine. Good Luck!
