Postal Letter

What kind of postal stamps should I use to mail to New Zealand from USA?

Where do I get them? How much do they cost?

  1. You use the regular stamps from your local post office. Just take the package along and the staff will weigh it and tell you the cost. How much will depend on the weight. Ian M
  2. Your post office can tell you that.If your wanting to send some thing other than a letter than you probably have to see them anyway.
  3. OMG you use american stamps that you buy at an american post office
  4. If I was an American, in America, and wanted to send a letter to New Zealand, or a parcel, I would write the letter, put it in an envelope, seal it and address it. (or box up the parcel) I would take it to the local Post Office and the American Postal Worker would calculate the charge and sell you the correct stamp/s.(I suspect that's thier job and what they are paid for????) I would then carefully lick those stamps, affix them to the appropriate place on the letter/parcel and ask the Postal Clerk to deposit it in the International Outgoing Mailbag. But that's only me---and the rest of the people on the planet too I suspect. You, being American and having no idea how to do something as simple buying a stamp or a letter at the Post Office--well, heck, what can I tell ya? Or is it true that American Postal Workers are always going nuts with guns shooting everybody in sight and you are just too scared to go to your local Post Office? Either way, having to ask such a question over the internet makes us all wonder how people who can't even manage to buy a postage stamp, ended up masters of the world. Dia---bolical
