POSTAL STRIKE QUESTIONS, PLEASE HELP!?

please can someone help, ive got to write an essay about the 2009 postal strike, finding information isnt at all easy would anyone be able to answer the followoing questions or send any helpful links... 1. when did the strike start? 2. why did it start? 3.when did it end?is it still on now? 4. which areas has it affected? and what volume of mail has been delayed and destroyed? i know its not easy as i have looked already and all the old strikes come up and the news reports arnt in order and are hard to understand without the basic information but if you have any infomration what so ever it would be apprecieted, thanks :)

1. I'm not aware of a strike in 2009! Need to check your facts!
2. What country is this postal strike at? Oops, sorry I made that huge mistake thinking only of the USA because I know for a fact that the USA did not have a postal strike. Now I realized that you are talking about the UK postal strike last July 2009.
3. 0bama cut thier overtime pay and hours. They are making less money ever and gotten upset. Mail is not popular these days because people are using internet. Isn't that dumb Gore claimed that he invented the internet? Ugh!
