What would be the impact on USPS employees if the USPS started 5 day delivery?

1. I would guess that the City Carrier Floaters would not be necessary. They would probably be used to cover excess volume routes on a day to day basis. If Saturday were eliminated, that would make Monday even worse for delivery than it is now. If Tuesday or Wednesday were eliminated, that would make 2 Mondays every week. It is just not feasible to stop mail processing. MP is a 24/7/365 operation.
