Is this a correct Us Postal Service tracking number?

hey i recently bought Astro A40 headset off ebay for $300 AUD and we went through a big mess with the payment, and finally he told me he shipped them, and gave me this tracking number: CP08260934US It is yet to work on www.usps.com (after 2-3 days of it being posted), and my 2 friends that got gived tracking numbers for the same company, were 1 digit longer than mine. there's was sent priority mail, and i think mine is just normal postage. is that the reason for the extra number, or did i get given a wrong tracking number? Thanks heaps.

1. I think you got a wrong number as i ship stuff and never seen a numbers like that mine have been all numbers I shipped priority mail.
