Postal Letter

Does the mailman carry his own mail, or is there an everlasting chain of mailmen?

I know this is a little weird, but it's a persistent question.

1. I think it would depend on if he/she lives on his/her own route. Even if there was some regulation about delivering your own mail, there would be no "everlasting" chain, as this rule could be satisfied with as few as two mail carriers. Carrier A delivers to Carrier B Carrier B delivers to Carrier A
