Postal Letter

Will the Post Office mail something in a Priority Mail envelope if it has a regular stamp on it?

I have a bunch of Priority Mail envelopes I took from the Post Office and I want to use it to mail something, but I just want to put a regular stamp on it. Will they mail it like that? I don't want to have to buy the more expensive postage or buy bigger envelopes from the store.

1. If there is not enough postage for PM, it will go 1st class
2. yes - they will mail it BACK TO YOU with the reason "Insufficient postage" stamped on it Priority Envelopes have to have the correct postage! all the best
