USPS First Class International reliable?

Chance of a 17x12x4, 2 lb package, value of items at $5, getting from Pittsburgh, PA to El Salvador via USPS First Class International in 14 business days or less? Please, no jokes... Your honest best guess? (The USPS employee recommended I go First Class Int. over Global Priority because he said the approximate delivery date will be the same, and since me package is only 2 lbs, I might as well go First Class Int. to save money).

1. The reliability for first class or global priority would be the same. The USPS delivers the package to the El Salvadorian post office. After that it becomes the responsibility of the El Salvador post office to actually deliver it. They won't care if it's priority or first class.
