  1. Of course they do - it's a government job.
  2. It's a government job, no matter how "casual" you consider it. You'll get drug tested for sure.
  3. Yes they do. They do before they will hire you and randomly throughout your career.
  4. Yes and if I'm not mistaken the do a hair follicle test. So there is no way to cheat it.
  5. Working for the USPS is a government position no matter what capacity you're in and as such all employees of the government are required to take a drug test.
  6. Not sure about the drug tests, ...... but you DO have to qualify on the AK-47.
