is it enough to write zip code/postal code as an address?

well i dunno what does zip/postal code refer to so tell me pls what does it refer to? and is it enough to write as an address?

1. No that is not enough. zip codes generally refer to the city that you live in. Very large cities have multiple codes depending on the physical location of the address.
2. No, a ZIP code will only get the envelope to the correct mail carrier who would perform the final delivery. They will still need a street and address to deliver to (but you wouldn't need the city or state because the ZIP code gets you to the correct city and state already).
