When is it proper to give a mailman a Christmas present~Before or after Christmas?
I always give the mailman a card and some money before Christamas and my wife says I should give them the money after Christmas~to me it is a a moot point but what is more proper? I am sure the mailman could care less as long as they got the present~~

- Before Christmas. If you wait until after it seems like you forgot and just hurried up threw something together.
- It is proper to deliver your gift to your mailman before the holiday. This would also apply to the person who delivers your newspaper, babysitter, teacher. clergy-or any one else you feel you would like to offer a gift to. Hope that helped.
- If you give the gift before, your letter carrier can use the extra money to help with their own holiday expenses, such as food, gifts or travel. Who wishes someone a merry Christmas after the fact?
- Of course before. People will open the present on Christmas day.
- A gift is a gift but sometimes it is better to be late then NEVER especially if the gift is money~I give after the fact~people can always be grateful when they are broke from the holidays it separates you from the *Pack*
