How long does Fedex Ground take to deliver?

I ordered an item I purchased from Payless Merchendise using Fedex Ground. The place I ordered it from is in Illinois and I live in California. It's been 5 days and it still hasn't come. How long is it supposed to take?

1. I believe, fedex the standard shipping is from 6 to 10 days. Payless and most other businesses always have an available other optional shipping to choose from. But if you hadn't seen the choices, then it was most likely shipped standard, which at times can be like snail mail. So I would suggest, that if you don't receive it by the 10 th day. Then call Payless and see what the hold up is. Or go straight to there website. Fedex on line can be helpful to, if Payless gave you a Fedex tracking number to track your products.
