Postal Letter

When will he get my letter according to the US postal service?

I sent it friday morning (right before they pick up the mail) and it is now sunday and i know theres no postal service on sundays. is it possible he could have gotten my letter yesterday? (sent from NY to chicago) or will he get it on monday?

1. Probably Tuesday or Wednesday. If you want your letters to get there quicker, use Fedex or email.
2. The mail still moves on Sunday so maybe Tues or Wed.
3. mail moves on sunday, but it dosnt get delivered on sunday's.... BTW...i send mail from seattle to ny often and it takes 4 days usually,
4. If you wanted to make sure it got there by a certain time you should have used a private carrier like fedex, dhl or ups. Of course it's illegal to send a letter for cheaper than the post office would send it for.... but the service is still way better with private companies.
