Postal Letter

Do I have to go to the post office to send a letter internationally?

I'd like to send a letter to Holland. On the USPS website, it says it costs 98 cents to send a letter there by First Class International Mail. Can I just put 3 forever stamps on there and drop it in a mailbox or do I need to go to a post office for some reason? What other special instructions do I need to take in sending my letter? Thanks in advance for the advice!

  1. 98 cents US postage = 2 Forever stamps + a 10 cent stamp (or equivalent). No point in overpaying, which 3 Forever stamps would do. Forever stamp currently 44 cents each. Drop letter in any post box. No special trip to PO.
