How does the mailman do his job...?

  1. They have routes so they go to the same places every day. It's all sorted and computerized for them, so it's not like they have to take bags of mail and sort it. The back end preparation is high tech.
  2. I had a friend that worked for UPS, i know it's not mail, but close. It was a grueling job resulting in backache and late nights (he didn't get to go home until every last package was delivered!) As for actually delivery, i think everything is planned out ahead of time. Mailmen have their routs preselected and letter and packages organized by address but, as far as work ethic goes, i guess whatever brings home the bacon.
  3. first of all a mailman does not deliver 1000 packages. If so show me proof how in a website other then wiki. And second the mailman makes mistakes alot of times. Know that song nobodys perfect. lol. I live in a subdivision and I'm 116 and another person is 116 on a different street. The mailman or maillady or what ever mixes us up everytime. BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION. When you mail a package it has its address on it. Someone, I dont know who sorts it out by town and city. Then thats why you see big long ups trucks. Hope that help!! BYEBYE!!!
