What exactly is Registered Mail? Is that also known as US Postal Service Parcel Post?

I heard that you have to sign something in order to get your item? It's an ebay item. How long does it take to get to California from Jacksonville, Florida?

1. Whether it was on ebay or not has no bearing, since it's the seller who actually does the shipping. AFAIK, Registered Mail always requires a signature from whoever accepts it. RM is not necessarily Parcel Post (altho it can be) - it is just a way of specially tracking an item to prove delivery. Unless it was unusually large or heavy, I would not think it would normally take more than 3-5 business days to get there...however, with this being holiday season, normal rules might not apply.
