usps tracking service says they attempted to deliver my package.?

on the status on usps tracking info, it says that they attempted to deliver it and left a notice, yet we where here all day and no mail came. i know i put in the right shipping info so i dont know whats going on. i dont have the little green notice card so i dont think i can go pick it up.

1. Maybe they had light footfalls and were quick! Just go to the ups store and pick it up.
2. I agree with humynism (since I can't vote yet). Usps and ups guys are sneaky. I babysat one day and the guy showed up twice and we were right in the same room as the door and didn't hear him, neither did their dog.
3. If they attempted to deliver it and got no response, they'll be holding the package for you at the Post Office. Just go down there tomorrow with some ID and pick it up.
