Postal Letter

How do I mail a letter to a different country?

I live in the US and I want to mail a letter to Canada. I know this is a bit stupid, but how do I write my address, as in where do I place the name of the country. And how many stamps do I need to use? Also, do you need a special stamp if you're sending something out of the country? Do I need to know anything else? Anyways I'm sending something that's I'm estimating about 9 grams at most. I feel so pathetic not knowing how to mail a letter XD Thanks~

  1. If its a regular letter, you put your address and recipients address the same as in the U.S. As far as postage you need 92 cents to mail to Canada and Mexico all other countries require different amounts. Make sure it is still 92 cents because the post office changes rates constantly.
  2. Your return address will still be the same. The address to where you are sending the letter will be like it is here (as they gave it to you) then below that at the bottom of the letter put CANADA. Take the letter to the post office to mail it & they will tell you the charges.
