What is an Automated Postal Center?
I am just wondering what this is exactly? My city has two postal offices. One that is only open 8:30-5:30 and the other that is open 24 hours. Am I able to go inside the automated Postal Service before the package gets shipped to the regular postal office? The package has not arrived yet.

- An automated center is the plant where the mail is sorted and processed. And NO you cannot go there.
- An "Automated Postal Center" is what USPS calls their self-service kiosk that lets you weigh your packages and buy postage without assistance. It doesn't have anything to do with the behind-the-scenes mail processing, which you can't intercept anyway. Let them do their job.
