What should i do for let my parents to get my postal letters?
I will not be in home during working hours. so whenever i get a register letter, the post man is not handing over it to my parents. It seems that he expected some tip and my parents were not willing to give it. That's the reason he always expects me to come over to the post office just to collect the letters. Is there any procedure to give authority to my parents for collecting my registered postal? Please give me suggestions.

- Reach the HEAD POST MASTER and say the difficulty , if he requires just write a authentication letter...
- Registered mail can not be delivered to anyone else but who it is addressed to, so you do need to go pick it up yourself. Or you can try something like writing a letter stating that it is okay that your parents ( write their names down, too) receive this letter, then sign this letter and give it to your parents to show him the next time he delivers one.
- Have him leave a delivery sign slip with them to let you sign...its simple..they do it all the time...as for tipping, record that attempt and it will be his last delivery
- Give your parents a letter that states you give them permission to collect any and all mail addressed to you. In the United States it is not legal for a post employee to take a tip.
